Terms of Service

By creating an account or using AuditionPartner.ai ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.

AuditionPartner.ai is a web-based platform that allows actors to upload scripts, rehearse scenes with AI-generated scene partners, and record self-tape auditions. The Service includes script parsing, AI scene partner generation, hands-free rehearsal, video and audio recording, cloud storage for scripts and recordings, and practice session tracking.

Eligibility

The Service is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, current information during registration and to keep your profile up to date.

You Own Your Content

Scripts you upload, recordings you create, notes you write, and any other materials you contribute ("Your Content") remain your intellectual property. We do not claim ownership over Your Content.

License to Us

By uploading content, you grant AuditionPartner.ai a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This license ends when you delete the content or your account.

Third-Party Scripts

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and use any script or material on the platform. We are not liable for copyright infringement arising from content you upload. If you upload copyrighted sides for personal audition preparation, you do so at your own discretion and responsibility.

AI-Generated Audio

Scene partner audio generated by our text-to-speech system is produced for your personal rehearsal use. This generated audio should not be redistributed, published, or used commercially outside the platform without confirming compliance with applicable voice synthesis terms.

Camera & Microphone Access

The self-tape studio requires access to your camera and microphone. By using this feature, you consent to the capture and processing of your video and audio for recording purposes.

Storage & Access

Recordings are stored in your private storage space and are only accessible to you by default. If you generate a shareable link, anyone with that link may view the recording.

Microphone for Voice Detection

Line detection can operate in multiple modes. Auto (Voice) mode uses local voice activity detection in your browser. Smart Detection sends microphone audio to our speech-to-text provider for real-time transcription and line matching.

You agree not to use the Service to: upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on third-party rights; attempt to access other users' data or bypass security controls; reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service; use automated scripts or bots to interact with the Service; resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service or its outputs; overload the platform with excessive requests or abuse storage limits; or use the text-to-speech feature to generate audio for purposes unrelated to audition preparation.

Enforcement

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.

Availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We strive for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure issues, or third-party service outages may temporarily affect availability.

Storage Limits

Individual file uploads are limited to 20 MB for scripts and 500 MB for recordings. We may adjust these limits with notice. Exceeding usage thresholds may require a plan upgrade.

Third-Party Dependencies

The Service relies on third-party providers for key functionality, including hosting/authentication/storage, payment processing, voice generation, speech-to-text, video transcoding/playback, and AI-assisted script extraction/parsing. Changes by these providers may affect features, performance, or availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AuditionPartner.ai and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes, without limitation, loss of data, loss of audition opportunities, or interruption of rehearsal workflows. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

By You

You may request account deletion at any time by contacting legal@auditionpartner.ai. After verification, we will remove access and process deletion of associated account data. Certain records may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or billing obligations.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. In the case of service discontinuation, we will provide at least 30 days' notice and an opportunity to export your data.

We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 14 days before taking effect. Non-material changes (clarifications, formatting) may take effect immediately. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
